Who We Are
Strange Luck is a storytelling studio for the human spirit. We work with brands, nonprofits, and media companies to tell stories that generate empathy and drive engagement.
How We Do It
Strange Luck helps your audience fall in love with the world — its sounds, its stories, its textures, its contradictions, its juxtapositions, its surprises. We approach our work through a documentary lens, crafting stories through art, design, and cinematic storytelling.
Our Fate
You know when you’re creative and independent, right? And everyone knows it? They tell you, amidst the chaos that ebbs and flows throughout your life, Don’t worry – you’ll figure it all out. Well, you know you can figure everything out somehow, but you just wish you had some support. And not just any wishy-washy support, but a ride-or-die Best Friend who would lock arms with you and embrace your success as their own. That isthe spirit in which Strange Luck was founded – a tight-knit braintrust of creatives with diverse skill sets devoting themselves to making great work together.
We grew up in front of televisions and were saturated in images from birth, but we didn’t stay there, captive to the commercial wasteland of Western communication. Like the Buddhas before us, we left home in search of beauty. We fell in love with the world – its sounds, its stories, its textures, its contradictions, its juxtapositions, its surprises. We view creative communication as a way to honor what is good and pure about humanity. We infuse integrity and impactful storytelling across platforms and contexts – even in the places you wouldn’t expect it. We believe in everyone.
